Impact

There are multiple known issues with Graphtrack versions 7.0-7.2 that make the base functionality of the product severely degraded. These issues include:

Errors and inability to install properly
Failure to properly recognize 9985 mix board adapter
Inaccurate or missing FED and BED statistics
Inability to collect data in the ldev monitor
"Range Check Error"

These issues may present themselves if EITHER of the following conditions are met:

Currently running Graphtrack 7.0, 7.1, or 7.2
Microcode level of the subsytems being monitoring are below 50-03-99-00/02

Resolution

To allow for proper functionality of Graphtrack on the SE9990 and SE9985 arrays the following actions should be taken:

1. Microcode on all monitored arrays should be 50-03-99-00/02 or higher

2. Graphtrack 7.3 or higher should be utilized

Graphtrack 7.3 software can be obtained using the normal software request process as documented in Infodoc 78884.
