Component
Tips
Drive Cage Midplane
  • Number of screw holes used for mounting CSM200 Drive Cage Midplane may not match the number of screw holes in the tray Chassis. (FAB 1019216.1).
Disk Drives
  • Interposer cards on the SATA Drive have been damaged due to the loosening of drive bracket screws on the drive assembly. (FAB 1000958.1).
  • Data In Place Migration Process for Sun StorageTek 6000 and Flexline Arrays.(FAB 1000140.1).
Array Controller
  • Updated procedures for upgrading a Sun Storage Tek 6140/6540 or FLX380 Array controller firmware from 6.x to 7.50 (or higher). (FAB 1020565.1).
  • Controller replacement in Sun StorageTek 6140 and Sun StorageTek 6540 Arrays may initiate a Crystal firmware upgrade on the other controller. (FAB 1019884.1).
  • The Ethernet port on the StorageTek 25x0/61x0/6540 controllers may not work properly while attached to an Ethernet Switch port with auto-negotiation disabled. (FAB 1000790.1).
  • The audible alarm reset button on front bezel 541-1864-01 compresses the alarm reset button on the battery module. The button appears stuck. The audible alarm is not functional. The reset button was removed from front bezel 541-1864-02 in September/October 2007 by WO_35178.
Firmware
  • Firmware downgrades from 07.1x.xx.xx require special procedures and approval. (FAB 1019709.1).
  • Crystal firmware 7.10.xx.xx upgrades will require a special Upgrade Utiltiy to install. (FAB 1019209.1).
