Operator Panel LEDs

Under system initialization after NFB on, or under system power-on process.
Check / Amber

Indicates the position of the fault

Error occurred in the XSCFU

Off On Off
  • XSCFU is on standby
  • System is waiting for power-on of the air conditioning system
On On Off
  • Warm-up standby processing is in progress (power-on is delayed)
  • Power-on sequence is in progress
  • System is in operation
Blinking On Off
  • Power-off sequence is in progress
  • Fan termination is being delayed

 

Disk Drive / Component LEDs

LED Name / Color Status Description
Ready / Green
On
Indicates that the component is operating. The component cannot be disconnected and removed from the server
Off
Indicates that the component is stopped. The component can be disconnected and replaced.
Blinking
Indicates that the component is being incorporated (or disconnected). For an XSCF unit it indicates that it is being initialized.
Check / Amber
On
Indicates that an error has been detected.
Off
Indicates no known error exists.
Blinking
Indicates that the component is ready to be replaced. The blinking LED acts as a locator.

 

XSCFU LEDs

LED Name LED Type Status Description
XSCFU Active
On (green)
Indicates that the XSCFU is active.
Off
Indicates that the XSCFU is on standby.
XSCFU and I/O (for LAN ports) Active
On (green)
Indicates that the communication is being performed through the LAN port.
Off
Indicates that no communication is being performed through the LAN port.
Link Speed
On (amber)
Indicates that the communication speed for the IOU is 1G bps.
On (green)
Indicates that the communication speed is 100M bps.
Off
Indicates that the communication speed is 10M bps.

 

PCI Slot LEDs

LED Type Status Description
Power
On (green)
Indicates that the power to the PCI slot is turned on. The PCI card cannot be removed.
Off
Indicates that the power to the PCI slot is turned off. The PCI card can be removed.
Attention
On (amber)
Indicates that an error occurred in the PCI slot.
Off
Indicates the normal state of the PCI slot.
Blinking (amber)
Indicates that the card in this PCI slot is a target device for replacement.

 

Power Supply LEDs

LED Type Status Description
Ready On (green) Indicates that the power is turned on and being supplied
Off Indicates that power is not being supplied to the power supply unit.
Blinking (green) Indicates that the power is being supplied to the power supply unit, but the power supply unit is not turned on.
Check On (amber) Indicates that an error occurred in the power supply unit.
Off Indicates the normal state of the power supply unit.
LED_AC On (green) Power supply unit has AC applied and is supplying 12V.
Off Indicates that AC is out of the specified operating range and 12V is not being supplied from the power supply unit.
LED_DC On (green) Power supply unit has AC applied and is supplying 48V. Standby pinhole provides a manual backup to turn off 48V power.
Off Indicates that 48V is not being supplied from the power supply unit.

 

Fan LEDs

LED Type Status Description
Attention On (amber) Indicates that an error occurred.
Blinking (amber) Indicates that the fan is a target device for replacement.
