Notes

  1. The minimum Solaris operating system is Solaris 10 6/06.
  2. Documentation is not included.
  3. SAS Port numbering is unknown, and intentionally omitted from the illustration.
  4. HBA 375-3487-01 supports 8 addresses.
    HBA 375-3487-02 supports 244 addresses.
  5. HBA >=375-3487-02 is required when this card is used with the J4200 or J4400 storage arrays.
  6. SATA disk drive write caching is disabled on 375-3487-03.
    Write caching of SATA drives not attached to a RAID controller can lead to data integrity issues if unexpected power loss occurs.

Storage 7000 Notes

  1. The S7310 was released in May 2009.
    The S7410 was released in December 2008.
  2. HBA 375-3487-05 released in November 2009. (WO_42311 to fix BugID 6800183)
  3. Mixing 375-3487-04 and 375-3487-05 in the S7310 or S7410 is not supported.
  4. Sun Storage 7000 Software >=2009.Q3.2.0 (2009.09.01.2.0,1-1.6) is required.
  5. Sun Storage J4400 Simm firmware 3R24 is recommended. (BugID 6912002)
  6. SG-XPCIE8SAS-E-Z with 375-3487-04 is planned to ship until December 2010.
  7. SG-PCIE8SAS-E-Z and SG-XPCIESAS-S7-Z with 375-3487-05 were released in November 2009. (WO_42311)
  8. SG-XPCIESAS-S7-Z was announced in June 2010.
