Notes

  1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 with the Recommended Patch Cluster.
  2. The necessary drivers (SUNWqus & SUNWqusu for 32-bit and 64-bit configurations, and SUNWqusx & SUNWqusux for 64-bit configurations) and patches for this product are not included in Solaris 8 or 9, but must be downloaded.
Please see the Release Notes, 816-2157, for downloading details.
  3. When using 375-3057 in a multi-initiator configuration with shared StorEdge 3310 or S1 arrays, the jumpers on the board for the appropriate shared SCSI bus must be set to "manual SCSI termination".
    • The jumpers for Port 2 are set to manual termination by factory default:
      (J4 and J5 = 2-3)
    • Prior to May 2003, the factory default of Port 1 was automatic SCSI termination:
      (J8 and J9 = 1-2)
If Port 1 is shared, these jumpers must be changed to manual termination:
      (J8 and J9 = 2-3)
This became the default setting of J8 and J9 in May 2003. (see ECO WO_26435)
    For details, see BugID 4836405.
  4. Qualification on Sun Blade 1000 and 2000 is documented in BugID 4644090.
