Notes
- The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 4/01.
- I/O Board slots are labeled IB6 to IB9.
- The I/O Board includes an I/O Board, cPCI Riser, and Cardcage.
- Chassis labels include the abbreviated name and number.
- The left to right system installation sequence is IB6, IB8, IB7, and IB9.
- Install Filler Board 540-4446 in all empty cPCI board slots.
- Install Filler Panel 330-2822 when servicing a cPCI I/O board slot.
- How To article 1005873.1 provides
a "ftp-only" shortcut for updating the flashprom firmware.
- All I/O boards within a system must be at the same firmware revision.
When replacing an I/O board, confirm that the firmware version on the
replacement matches the other I/O boards.
