- Sun Fire 4800 shipped with 300-1460 (A153).
Sun Fire E4900 ships with 300-1596 (A185) or 300-1837 (A213).
- Support for the Type A212 and A213 Power Supplies is in OBP 5.20.0.
- Sun Fire 4800 requires 300-1596, 300-1837, or 300-2224 with UltraSPARC IV.
Sun Fire 4800 and E4900 require 300-1837 or 300-2224 with
1.8GHZ/1.95Ghz UltraSPARC IV+.
Three 300-2224 power supplies are in upgrade kit XE4900-USIV+KIT-Z.
- Mixing power supply part numbers is not supported except during an upgrade.
- Mixing 300-1596, 300-1837, or 300-2224 with Sun Fire 4800 Fan Trays
FT0 540-4345, FT1 540-4344, or FT2 540-3586 is not supported.
- Mixing 300-1837 or 300-2224 with E4900 Fan Trays FT0 540-5998,
FT1 540-5997, or FT2 540-5999 is not supported.
- The 300-1837 was replaced by 300-2224 because of DecaBDE in the
ejector handle resin.
